The Joel Embiid 360 Experience

My team and I collaborated with GQ Magazine on its first digital cover featuring the NBA star Joel Embiid in September of 2018. The magazine wanted to capture the behind-the-scenes magic in 360 degrees, so we chose to transport viewers to the court with Joel, interacting with fans during the shoot in this 3-minute short.

For additional versatility, we also produced reframes that utilized 360 footage while still providing a traditional video. This unique alternate version allowed GQ to showcase the video on platforms that do not yet support 360 video, such as Instagram & Linked In. The final product reached a total impression of 630k.
